This is a knockoff of the “Chicken Soup for the _______ Soul” series. Like all knockoffs, it is of much lower quality than the original. Which is weird and intensely depressing, considering it’s an anthology of true stories submitted by random people. Oh well, I guess when your life isn’t “compelling” enough, you have to settle for “more-or-less publishable”.
